We Are So Excited You’re Joining the WorkPlay Team! 

Join us for a week of training and fun in the sun with the WorkPlay Branding team! Here are all the important details you need to know:

Important Notes:

PREPARATIONS 
First, there are a few things we need from you. Please fill out the remote training retreat form and schedule your slots for each day HERE.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT 
You must have a 50mm (F2 or lower) lens, a professional camera body, at least 5 SD cards, a backup battery, laptop, and computer/camera chargers. If you haven't already, please fill out the camera gear form HERE.

Make sure you are fully prepared before the first day of the retreat! 

  • Go through each day of this training retreat itinerary and make sure you have everything set up for each of the shoots (the subject props, location, and camera with 50mm lens) 
  • Make sure Zoom is set up on your phone and/or computer with a strong internet connection
  • Have all three of your slots for each day all scheduled below:

Training Retreat Summary

 We’re so excited to invite you to the remote WorkPlay training retreat! This is going to be a jam packed 3 days of shooting content, training, & finishing up your onboarding with WorkPlay so you can go into your WorkPlay shoots confident and understand exactly how the WorkPlay team operates. 

 

Here's the General Rundown: 

  • 3 Styled Shoots 
  • 1 Partner Shoot
  • 1 PopUp Shoot Event
  • 2 Shoot Critiques 
  • Lunch will be provided
      

Styled Shoots: 

Styled shoots are shoots where you will be shooting for a particular vision and aesthetic. The goal is to get as close to the aesthetic as possible when you are shooting. 

 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR: 

- Vocal client direction 

- Correct framing of the content shot 

- Full body, mid-body & detail shots of each scene 

- Creative ideas on par with the creative aesthetic for the styled shoot 

 

Shoot Critiques: 

At WorkPlay branding we are constantly up-leveling our work and what we do so feedback and critiques are a huge part of being on the team. We’ll fine tune what specifically you need to work on in order to take your shoots to the next level.

- Being engaged in not only your critique but others as well. 

- Applying what you learned into the next styled shoot sessions
